Let me be lazy, please. October 1, 2008

I know I might be a little behind on this discovery I made today, but can anyone tell me why there is no more breadstick lady [or breadstick man] that comes to EACH table with a heaping pile of hot, tasty breadsticks?! I mean, Fazoli’s should know that we live in a society where we expect things to be handed to us with little or no effort on our part. Not only did some old lady [or man, but it's usually a lady] lose their job but now we have to go up to the counter and ask for more breadsticks, with shame and embarrassment in tact. It used to be a secret encounter, where only you and the bread stick person knew exactly how many you asked for. So, Fazoli’s I ask that you bring back the bread stick delivery service. Not only was it convenient and shameless, but I once dreamed of being the bread stick lady. Now sadly, I have no future.

Hahaha. I’m not really upset. But I think it would be funny if someone was really outraged by this.  =)

Too bad they cut this job! My little 3 yr old loves the breadsticks and when I’m by myself it’s harder to go back for more.

Have you noticed they always give you a buzzer now to come back for your food… no matter how busy it is (even if you’re the only one making a simple order). Ugh, restructuring even at Fazoli’s!

The “job” wasn’t cut. Serving breadsticks was one of the many aspects of the Service Leader’s job. The other aspects involve keeping the dinning room clean and stocked. The only thing that was cut was that aspect of the job, as it devoted too much time into the Service Leader’s job. The other reason that the bringing around of breadsticks was cut was due to corporate deciding that we had to make a choice to either have people come up for more FREE breadsticks, or charge $.25 to bring around additional bread for each table, as several of the Fazoli’s still do. Many Fazoli’s locations opted for the first choice, as it left breadsticks still cheaper.
